The transformation zip starts at the back of the jacket.

It is easier to transform the  RuckJack with the main jacket zip open.

It is easiest to hold the jacket just below the beginning of the transformation zip with one hand, let the fabric from the front of the jacket fall inside and close the transformation zip pulling downwards all the way to the hem.

Turn the RuckJack upside down - the large opening will become the top opening of the rucksack.

Find the clips and padding strips - one in each front pocket of the jacket - and pull them out.

The sleeves will become the rucksack straps.

Connect the clips at the end of the sleeves with the clips that hang out of the front pockets. (left arm left pocket clip, right arm right pocket clip)

To make the straps look neater, the pop-buttons  at the sleeve ends allow for the sleeve/strapped to be narrowed down.

The rucksack is closed with the draw cord in the hem.

All RuckJack models come with a waterproof cargo sack stored in an inside pocket. It is intendent to be used as a liner if you want to transport wet or dirty gear in you rucksack, as an emergency bag if you are caught out needing your jacket but still having gear to carry, and to replace single use plastic and paper bags to transport your shopping.
